Come to a relaxing hand building class and learn a new craft. We think it's a great way to get in touch with pottery - you can work with the clay at your own pace and learn more about its texture and properties through experimentation and play. You will have plenty of time to be creative and ask questions. We will make sure you have enough time to guide each of you. We will show you the three main techniques (pressing, coiling and slab building), which can also be combined in the making process. After the introduction, it's time to get started. You can make different things depending on your idea, like a mug, a bowl, a vase, soap dishes - there are so many beautiful possibilities.
At the end of the course there is a selection of different glazes (12 colors) that you can choose for each piece. We will then take loving care of your pieces. We will fire them (1st firing - bisque firing), glaze them and fire them again (2nd firing - glaze firing).
We have aprons for everyone, but wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. Clay comes out of clothes very easily, just wash them as normal. It's best to keep your nails short, then it's easier to work with pottery.
We will inform you by email when they are ready for pick up (approx. 5-7 weeks) or we will send them to you by mail (shipping costs are not included). You are welcome to collect them on our pick-up days. We ask that you collect your items within two months. If you are unable to do this, you are welcome to send a friend on your behalf.
Minimum number of participants: 4 people // maximum 8. If a class has less than 4 participants, we will contact you to arrange a new date.
Bookings cannot be cancelled. If you are ill or unable to attend the course, someone else can take part in your place without any problems. The konfetti workshops are events (similar to concerts or cinema tickets), so the option of rebooking is not mandatory. Please contact GoKonfetti directly for this.
Since it is difficult to go by the number of pieces when building by hand, we will check how much material you have used. 3-4 pieces are planned. Depending on the size, there may be additional costs (5-10€ per piece).

our pottery courses are not about grades or any kind of evaluation. Come along and learn about this great craft. Be kind to yourself, enjoy the process of trying things out and have fun not having to be perfect.
